Acknowledging The Lord In All Your Ways

Proverbs 3:6, In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Over the past 30 years serving in various ministries, I have learned that many saint struggle with this scripture to including me. Through my own struggles I have learn that this scripture is vital for us to live as a Christian everyday. Our Creator realized that we would have some difficulties making good choices and decisions due the lustful desires of the flesh along with the temptations of the devil. I have come to understand that with the Lord, I cannot do anything. By have this state of mind I am admitting that I am flawed, insufficient, and cannot function without by Creator, God all might. As long as I acknowledge him in everything I do, He will guide me to make the right decision every time. If you are having problems with your finances, family, children, yourself esteem, on your job, etc.; just acknowledge the Lord and he will help you. What does it mean to you by acknowledging the Lord in all your ways?

In order to acknowledge (admit, recognize, allow, accept, concede) God in all thy ways, one must first recognize God as Lord of their life. To me it means living according to the word of God. This can only be done through studying scripture and consistent meditation, prayer, praising God continually and listening/obeying the Holy Spirit, in other words having a “relationship with the Savior”. I have to lean on God to pick me up when I am down and keep me on path to living the way He wants me to live. This also means that I recognize God as my strength and my salvation. I am nothing without Him. Thoughts?
